Job Description: Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and conduct toolbox meetings for employees.
• Maintain records of incidents and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with external agencies (e.g., fire departments) for emergency preparedness.
• Participate in safety committees and initiatives to improve safety standards.
• Conduct safety audits and environmental hygiene inspections.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, IMS standards, and legal documentation (Factory Act/Rules).
• Inspect fire-fighting facilities, equipment, and safety tools regularly.
• Issue safety violation notices and ensure employee safety education.
• Conduct mock drills and weekly safety training sessions.
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensure workplace hygiene, and handle internal/external audits.
