Key Responsibilities:1. Sales and Customer Engagement:

  • Engage customers effectively to understand their preferences and recommend suitable diamond and gold jewelry pieces.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by leveraging product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Provide detailed information on jewelry features, quality, and certifications (e.g., diamond grading, hallmarking).
  • Offer personalized shopping experiences, including custom jewelry consultations.

2. Inventory and Product Management:

  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends and new arrivals in diamond and gold jewelry collections.
  • Ensure jewelry displays are clean, attractive, and replenished as per brand guidelines.
  • Manage stock levels and coordinate with inventory teams to meet customer demands.

3. Relationship Building and Networking:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify potential wholesale or bulk buyers and nurture those relationships.
  • Participate in events, trade shows, and exhibitions to represent the brand and expand the customer base.

4. Marketing and Upselling:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store promotions, special events, and loyalty programs.
  • Upsell higher-value items and cross-sell complementary pieces (e.g., diamond rings with matching bracelets).

5. Documentation and Compliance:

  • Accurately handle billing, invoices, and necessary documentation for each sale.
  • Ensure all sales adhere to compliance requirements, including certifications and authenticity checks.

6. Reporting and Feedback:

  • Provide regular sales reports, customer feedback, and market insights to the management team.
  • Share ideas for improving customer experiences and boosting sales performance.

Qualifications: Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.)

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in jewelry sales, preferably in diamond or gold jewelry.
  • Familiarity with GIA, IGI, or other certification standards is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of jewelry trends, diamond grading, and precious metals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and basic computer skills.
